Die For Me by Amy Plum is a rather upbeat zombie romance. I know, clash of terms. It began with a fairly standard opening sisters whose parents were killed in an accident move away and try to cope with their grief. Here Katie and her older sister Georgia move in with their grandparents in Paris. Mmn Paris. It’s probably pretty hard to stay depresses in Paris, but Kate gives it the old high school try.
While she’s moping around a cafe, she meets a gorgeous and vaguely dangerous Vincent. He saves her life and then becomes a little stockerish, but his obsession soon grows to her closest friendship in years. If there was a category entitled Cozy Paranormal Romance, this would be one. Looking for a zombie tale without too many detaches limbs, this is your book.
